Rita and Sable - 'The Expedition' (Collaboration)

This is the result of a character-swap collaboration with a fellow artist.

I haven't attempted such a detailed piece or extensive background in a very long time. However, the entire collab process has been an absolute blast and a great challenge! In this universe, Rita (drawn by me) is the captain of a smuggling crew. She has taken on an unusual escort mission, to assist Sable (drawn by MrMcArthur, playing the role of a space-botanist) on her expedition into the wilderness of a jungle planet, and the pair are about to walk right into some trouble with the local carnivorous flora!
