Amongst the Clans of Night, big bats like our noctule friend here are considered brutish and a bit dim-witted. While the first may be true the big bat clans are smart enough to know their strengths and apply them to the betterment of their colony.

Big bats are rarely the best hunters, being outmatched by the speed and nimbleness of their smaller brethren, but many find useful employ as mercenary soldiers - protecting the hunting ground of another Clan.
